We are so thrilled to send you the Festival announcement newsletter! Inside, you will find everything you need to know about the 2024 Thespian Festival as well as some important other events that are happening this year.

Remember to register for festival by December 8!

REGISTERING FOR FESTIVAL

Becky Braswell, Festival Director

We are going back using Google Forms for the 2023 - 2024 Festival. We are hoping that this will save our organization funds that can be used to benefit our members while also being easier to understand.

To begin the registration process for Thespian sponsors, vendors, and/or college/representatives, read through this document.

There are specific instructions for every type of registration. If you are a Thespian troupe sponsor or a high school teacher bringing a non-thespian troupe, you will follow the steps to register yourself and any adults then your students.

College/University representatives are further down the document with specific links to registration forms for your school and all the reps who will be coming from your institution. You can also sign up to present workshops for a discounted table fee!

Our vendors and workshop presenters who are not coming to represent a college/university have their own specific instructions on this doc with the links to completing the registration.

If you have any questions about the festival registration process, please reach out to Becky Braswell, Festival Director via email (becky@okthespians.com).

STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT SPOTLIGHT

Allis Roddy, Communications

Student Spotlight

Harrison Quellar of troupe 7185

Harrison is new to Classen SAS, but has demonstrated in just the first quarter that he is an incredibly gifted individual. Not only does he maintain a strong academic GPA, but he is also a gifted performer. He attends all rehearsals and sets the pace for all the other actors. He does a great deal for his character work outside of rehearsal so that he can give his fellow actors the best performance in rehearsal. He gives of his time freely to complete extra work on the technical aspects in addition to being a performer.
