State Board meeting

Join us for a meeting where we will go over the annual events, set plans for festival, and address the state of our organization.  Troupe Directors are asked to bring two students from their troupe to represent their troupe as well as any State Thespian Officers that represent your troupe on the board.

Bring your students to our Filmworks festival to take part in something completely brand new in OK!  OK Thespians has partnered with Dead Center Film to provide students with a unique film making opportunity.  Actors and technicians are welcome!

The original festival, this weekend event offers workshops for educators and students, competition, performances, college auditions, and more.

Bring your competitive one act to our festival to receive adjudication!  Scores will be given as 1, 2, or 3. (Similar to choir competitions.) Overall awards will be given as well as audience favorites.

​Bootcamp

A day for teachers and students!
While students learn about leadership and what it takes to be a Student Thespian Officer, teachers will have the opportunity to gain some PD and connect with other theatre educators.

At our one day Junior Festival, middle school students from across the state have an opportunity to grow their acting and technical skills in workshops tailored for them.

OK backstage challenge

Tech Olympics has a new name!
Workshops will lead the day to teach all Thespians in attendance how to compete in the BACKstage Challenge at the state and international level.  No previous knowledge is required.   Compete in the afternoon or stay and watch!

OK Thespians 25 Hr Playworks Festival

Bring your team of Thespians to participate in our 25 Hour Playworks Festival.  Together, your team will have 25 hours to write, rehearse, and produce and perform a ten minute play!  
This will also be the time to submit your own Ten Minute Play for adjudication in Playworks Competition at OK Festival.
